The Craving

First off a big thanks to all who came and supported us at The Junction last Friday. It was our first full gig with Gary on drums, so it was good to see so many people there.

We had a great time and judging by the amount of people who stayed until the end, so did you guys!

Our next gig is in the Queen’s Arms in Torpoint on the 1st March. Hope to see you all there!

The Craving are back with a new lineup! Stan has left… and come back again… and Rich C has left and… um… not come back again. We wish him luck with his new project and look forward to seeing him play again soon!

We’d like to welcome Gary as our new drummer and for all who want to check him out we’ll be playing at the Queen’s Arms Charity night in Torpoint on Saturday 2nd February. We’ll be going on around 9.

For those who can’t make it to Torpoint we’ll be playing the following Friday (8th Feb) in the Junction on Mutley. Again going on around 9.

Sorry guys, but the Breton Arms gig has been canceled.  The pub want to show the football all afternoon so we’ve been bumped.  Sorry for the late notice, however we’ve only just found out ourselves!

Hope to see you all at our gig in the VOT next Sunday at 4pm.

A big thanks to everyone who came to the Breton Arms for our gig last Saturday and a special thanks to Matt, who made it all the way from Manchester just to hear one song! Good to see so many happy (drunk!) people, we hope you had as good a time as we did. Here’s a few snaps of the gig and few of you rowdy bunch thrown in for good measure!

If anyone has any more images of the night send them to us and we’ll get them up. Hope to see you all at the Junction next weekend around 4pm. Thanks again for your support and giving us such a great night!

We’ve uploaded a few demo tracks for you all to listen to. They’re recorded ‘as live’ so there’s no fancy overdubs or anything like that. What you hear is us banging through the tracks, mistakes and all! Check them out in the audio section.

We’ve got a few more gigs booked up over the next few months so we’ve also added a gig calendar to the site. Keep checking back for more dates and venues as they’re confirmed.

Our next live performances are:

Saturday 31st March, Breton Arms, Plymouth (8:30pm)
Saturday 7th April, The Junction, Plymouth (4:00pm)

Our set at The Junction is as part of their all day charity rock gig. All of the best bands in Plymouth will be there, so it’s a day not to be missed and all for a good cause!

New Guestbook Section

Finally we’ve also added a guestbook section to the site.  We’re not sure it’s a good idea, but we invite you all to let us know what’s on your mind!

We’ll be playing at ‘The Return of Monsters from the Creek’ charity gig taking place on Saturday 3rd Feb at Tencreek Holiday Park, Polperro Road, Looe, Cornwall.

Along with ourselves there are four other bands playing, Bad Habitz, Mighty Revz, Feverfew and Mary Jayne.

Tickets are £5 per person and snack food is included. Proceeds go to a range of Cornish charities and also Shigamba, Africa.

Should be a great night and all for a good cause, so we hope to see you all there!
